I was not as lucky as other artists to play around with pencils and scribble as a little child, but I was falling in love with beautiful things, with great pieces of art even though I was not paying too much attention. I just loved to admire works and look closely at the details. Never thought of taking my journey this way and everything just happened by surprise.

In school and high school I never had the chance to experiment. Never had the chance to learn more… so one day I decided to start learning by myself. One of my brothers helped me a lot in this process as I needed a little push when I was having trouble with projects and was deciding to quit. At the middle of studying year at the High School of Arts (Octav Bancila) I started taking this freelance business seriously and started improving my skills and receiving lots of work and I was doing this all by myself. The internet is such a vast place of information that if you search long and careful enough you can find everything you need.

After I graduated High School I went into the University of Arts “George Enescu” and I am studying into Commercial Graphics. Here I am gathering a few information that actually might be of some help for me and I love it that here I can experiment and create whatever I want.

In the first year of University I had the chance to actually work at a Advertising Company in my hometown Bizou

I have started creating my personal designs and illustrations during High School and later realised that people really like my work and I can do something really interesting with them so I started writing tutorials on websites like PSDTUTS, Tutorial9 or Webdesignerdepot and many more to come. These tutorials that I write have helped many young designers and this for me is very important. When I first started, I had trouble finding resources and inspiration and now it means so much to me to know that many young designers read my tutorials and are in love with my work and that they can improve their skills with my help.

This led to me creating BLOG OF GRAPHIC DESIGNER CONSTANTIN POTORAC, my personal art blog which serves as a conduit to the global art community and I hope it will soon become a source for spreading inspiration, process and technical information and an easier way for my fans to stay up to date with my work. I have also created my personal portfolio where people can enjoy what I do and contact me for projects or just for chat.
